(32)The technical standards to be drafted by the European Supervisory Authority (European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority) in accordance with this Directive and in relation to Directive 2003/41/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 3 June 2003 on the activities and supervision of institutions for occupational retirement provision ¹¹ should be without prejudice to the competences of Member States with regard to prudential requirements on such institutions as provided for in Directive 2003/41/EC.
