Recital 1

(1)Directive (EU) 2019/2034 requires competent authorities to disclose certain information in order for the internal investment firms’ market to operate with increasing effectiveness and to ensure adequate levels of transparency for the general public. Pursuant to that Directive, the information disclosed is to be sufficiently comprehensive and accurate to enable a meaningful comparison of the approaches adopted by Member States’ competent authorities.
