(3)To ensure consistency and harmonisation of the authorisation information required for applicant credit institutions, this Regulation should refer to the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/2580 3 on the information to be provided for the authorisation of credit institutions, the requirements applicable to shareholders and members with qualifying holdings and obstacles which may prevent the effective exercise of supervisory functions and should aim to expand its scope to the investment firms that classify as credit institutions.
