(7)In laying down the criteria for delegation of decisions taken in exercise of supervisory powers granted pursuant to Directive 2013/36/EU in cases of mergers, divisions or acquisitions of material holdings involving significant supervised entities, it is appropriate that certain criteria should be applicable over a period of at least three years from the effective date of the relevant operation. This is because the documents submitted by the relevant supervised entity in relation to the assessment of the relevant operation cover this time period.
