(30)Where the Commission makes a proposal for the registration after 2035 of new light-duty vehicles that run exclusively on CO 2 neutral fuels outside the scope of the CO 2 fleet standards, and in conformity with Union law and the Union’s climate-neutrality objective, this Regulation will need to be amended to include the possibility to type-approve such vehicles.
