Are the validation rules v23509_h and v23510_h correct when reading the reporting instruction of the ITS. In our view the reporting instruction of the ITS is not clear enough.
Background on the question
We conclude that the validation rules v23509_h and v23510_h are incorrect based on the following reasoning: v23509_h: Maximum single loss event is reported in r950. In our view this is not the sum of the maximum single loss of different business lines but the maximum value of the highest single loss event (of all categories). V23510_h: The top 5 losses is requested, so in line with the reasoning of v23509_h, this should reflect the 5 biggest losses of all the categories and not the sum of all the 5 biggest losses.
